What is the average temperature in Egypt?

​

During warmer months the weather during the day can be hot and dry, while at night time it can be a bit chilly and require a light sweater or jacket. During colder months there can be windy days so make sure to bundle up. Before packing make sure to check the weather forcast for your trips dates.

What is the appropriate attire for women traveling to Egypt?

​

Egypt is a tourism country with no specific dresscode for women or men’s attire. Dress comfortably, while remaining respectful of your surroundings.

What should I wear on board?

​

Clothing should be comfortable and casual. We recommend you bring comfortable shoes to wear during visits. During warmer weather it is advisable to bring a light jacket as indoor areas have air-conditioning.

What are the meals included in my stay?

Your stay includes Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner as well as snacks during sunset.

Are there any extra charges on board that I should be aware of?

The only extra charges onboard are for alcoholic beverages, and massage bookings if available during your trip.

Will I need to tip the staff?

​

Any gratuities you wish to give are entirely at your discretion. In Egypt gratuities are not obligatory but are greatly appreciated. (It is appreciated if gratuities are paid in cash in notes smaller than US$100, as it is difficult for staff to process American cheques and traveller’s cheques.)

Do you exchange currency onboard?

​

As per Egyptian law, all money exchange must be done at an official bank. If you need help finding where you can exchange your currency, please ask our front desk.

Is it safe to drink tap water in Egypt?

​

Due to every country and city having different water filtration systems you should strictly drink bottled water for precaution. 

​

How can you pay for the trip?

​

To settle your bill we accept debit or credit cards. We will need a copy of both your card and ID/Passport for our records, this can be done at check-in.

Are sightseeing and tours included?

​

Bookings made directly through Kazazian cruises, include sightseeing. If your booking was made with a third party please contact your agent for details about your package.

Is WIFI available onboard?

​

There is standard WI-FI access onboard, however during sailing there may not be signal in certain areas.

Can you cater for special dietary requirements?

​

We will do our best to cater for special dietary requirements such as vegetarian, vegan, etc., provided a detailed request has been made at the time of booking or at least 7 days prior to your arrival. If a special request has not been made, the chef will endeavour to prepare a dish with the ingredients available on board.

Is it safe to swim in the Nile?

​

We do not advise swimming in the Nile as the current is extremely unpredictable, and the water may not be clean in certain areas. Please be advised that if tried, it will be at your own risk.

What are the electricity specifications onboard?

​

The boat operates on 220 volts. Plug adapters and converters may be available.

​

Can I smoke on board?

​

Smoking is only permitted on deck.
